Alyvia was a trooper…through the record heat we had this weekend, she donned hats, ran, jumped, and otherwise had a gorgeous attitude towards a photoshoot in 90 degrees. That’s 90 degrees WITH humidity, which all of my friends in California can’t seem to understand. What’s with that? We SUFFER here in Massachusetts, we do. ;)

We shot in a massive park in Rhode Island, with acres upon acres of beautiful locations- gardens, gazebos, massive temple-like structures, and chinese gardens. We also happened to shoot on 6/7/08, so (can you guess where this is going?) we literally ran into about 10 weddings all josling for each of the prime locations at this park. The image above? I had taken JUST before we got kicked out by two wedding photographers with two different bridal parties…BOTH looking to shoot in the same place, haha. We managed to grab each location just before a limo showed up!

On a completely different note, today is my birthday! I’ll be out on the beach for most of the day, so I may be MIA from email. My present to myself is a day off, on the sand, with a good book. Mmm. :)
